async rust on microcontrollers finally feels production ready
after two years of running embassy on our sensor fleet i can say the executor overhead is negligible even on cortex-m0 class chips. tasks that used to need a full rtos now fit in eight kilobytes of ram with cleaner ownership semantics than our old c state machines. the migration pain was mostly about interrupt safety patterns, not the async model itself. has anyone else shipped embedded async to constrained hardware?
